Ever had a dream that seemed to come true the next day? For instance, have you ever dreamed about a famous person dying and then woke up to read the newspaper and find out that a celebrity passed away overnight? Maybe not necessarily the celebrity you dreamed about, but even so...pretty eerie right?
Gotta be a one-in-a-million lucky short or, just maybe, you tapped into some latent clairvoyant power. Better not start placing a bet in Vegas based on their clairvoyant talent. As for the one-in-a-million shot, however, maybe we should take a closer look at the numbers to figure out whether those odds are really that bad.

The current population of the Earth is over six billion people. There exist about 250 common dreams that are shared by all people across the globe. A simple crunch of the numbers indicates, therefore, that between one and two million people each and every night will experience some kind of dream that by the next time they slumber will have elements of the clairvoyant to it. That number is likely to be much larger in reality than two million people a night, but since most dreams appear to be related to everyday realities of an individualized and specific nature, some of those common thematic dreams may be corrupted by specific images that belie their seemingly clairvoyant nature.
