Best Christmas Gift of 2007: Rocket Dog Cordurback Sneakers
The Cordurback model has many appealing qualities at first glance. The corduroy exterior (hence "Cordurback," a play on the word "quarterback") is soft to the touch and does not lose that softness in time. The hard rubber sole bears the Rocket Dog logo and offers more style than it does traction. The inside of the shoe itself is extremely comfortable, and with the right size, this shoe can go a long way. For those familiar with skateboard shoes, the Cordurback is comparable to a more oldschool and casual skate shoe (much like the original Van's models). But be forewarned, the Cordurback is designed to be worn, not shredded.
Overall the shoe itself is a very stylish and comfortable fit for men with a taste in such shoe brands. The up-and-coming men's Rocket Dog line is ever-expanding, and I hope to see more quality shoes like the Cordurback on the shelves soon.
