Cinema DeLuxe Key Feature in Mall Addition

Imagine walking in an elaborate movie theatre lobby complete with a grand piano, red carpeting, and posh furniture. 

Such a movie theatre exists in the new addition of the Connecticut Post Mall, conveniently located off exit 39B of Interstate 95 in Milford, CT. 

The fourteen-screen movie theatre features a number of concessions even for the most discriminating tastes including a limited selection from Starbuck’s Coffee, Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, and Sbarro Pizza. 

Staff from these food outlets are not the fastest so I would recommend allowing plenty of time so that you won’t miss the movie as you wait for them to make buffalo wings for you from Nathan’s or a Ben and Jerry’s smoothie. 

Chatter’s Bar and Grill is a small restaurant nestled in the movie theatre with its own big screen television, bar, and table service with tables facing the mall hallway. 

Those looking for traditional fare will see old standbys like candy, popcorn, soda, and ICEE’s on the menu at the cinema’s main concession stand behind the piano. 

Next to the concession area a lounge that looks like a combination living room, dining room, and arcade all in one giving people time to relax as they wait for their movie to begin. 

Two big screen televisions, several apartment-style tables, a number of free magazines and newspapers, and a few arcade games are right across from the main condiment area fully stocked with the ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, sugar, straws, napkins and anything else you might need. 

The theatre offers two Director’s Halls at an additional $2 charge each person. 

These theatres are slightly smaller than the typical theatre but offer a limited menu allowing you to order things off the Chatter’s menu and traditional lineup be delivered to you in your seat. 

It is too bad they cannot supply you with all of the options as most moviegoers have.
