If you live in the United States and happen to not have medical insurance, then you are not alone. There are literally millions of people in the United States that do not have medical insurance. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor. Some insurance companies will deny you coverage no matter how much you are willing to pay for the coverage itself. We are living in a time where you have to be healthy in order to receive medical coverage. If you have anything that an insurer says that you cannot have, you will be denied coverage. This means that if you make $200,000 a year and want medical coverage, you will only be able to receive it if you are healthy. If you have: cancer, heart disease, diabetes or other ailments not listed, it will not be possible for you to receive health coverage. This is s shame since we live in one of the richest countries in the world and cannot get health insurance. Of course it all has to do with $money$. This is a sad reality of our time. You may think that just the poor sick people in the United States cannot get health care. However, the rich are also penalized if they have a pre-existing condition when they apply for coverage. It all comes down to money. The health care companies don't want to treat you if you are already ill. Only healthy and able bodied individuals will get treated.

If you are five feet eleven and weigh 250 pounds or more, many health care companies will deny you life insurance. Yeah, it's unfair and the corporate executives are becoming rich off of the healthy people. If you get sick, then your premiums will go up. Getting sick in the United States of America is basically a death sentence for anyone that is poor or rich and without health insurance. The sad reality of this is that you should be able to get something in the United States of America even if you are sick. However, the sad reality is that you will get no insurance at all if you get sick. You may as well move to Canada or another country that offers you health insurance. Otherwise you will have to pay for your medical bills out of pocket and you will be treated as a leper in the United States of America.

Takeaways
