What's Available

Gold Country Inn Lodging Facility provides 125 Visiting Airman Quarters (VAQ), 53 Visiting Officer Quarters (VOQ) and 28 Temporary Living Facilities (TLF) for families just moving to the base or transitioning to a new base. As well as housing individuals and families who are on official government orders, Gold Country Inn also provides temporary lodging for other guests on a space available basis only and for a maximum of 3 days at a time.

Reservations

When making a reservation, you will need to include your rank, the length of your stay, phone number, arrival and departure dates as well as a valid e-mail address. After making a reservation, a lodging clerk will contact you within 2 business days in order to confirm the reservation. Pet Friendly

The good thing about the Gold Country Inn Lodging Facility is that it also has 5 pet friendly TLF's available. In order to receive a pet TLF, pet owners must provide evidence of current and up to date vaccination records. A maximum of two pets are allowed in each TLF. A small daily charge is applied to the overall bill if you choose to stay in a pet TLF.

I was initially impressed it was pet-friendly, but turned green at the lack of cleaning and mold. Repulsive.

Oh my... I think I'll pass on this one. I'm very picky about things being clean, and to think it hadn't been cleaned after the former occupants left would really turn my stomach. The mould sounds like a serious problem too - especially since your family became ill because of it. Great review and information for those who may be thinking of staying there.
