List of Downloadable Rock Band Songs Available on XBox Live

Despite its astronomical price tag of 170 bucks for the game and bundle of instruments (guitar, drums, and mic), Rock Band has become a best-selling game in no time for the XBox 360 and Playstation 3. Read my review on the game here.
Rock Band is the ultimate party game with its emphasis on team-based play and ability to replicate the real-life experience of playing in an actual rock band, but after a while the experience starts to get a little stale because of the way the World Tour mode makes you play the same songs
over and over again.
That's why developer Harmonix decided to put in exclusive downloadable content for the game, however, and many more songs are either available now on XBox Live or on the way. Some full albums are even confirmed and on the way.
To download the songs, simply go to the XBox Live Marketplace and enter a code from a Microsoft Points card you buy at a store like Target or GameStop and then you will get the points in your account. Go to "All Games" and find Rock Band then choose from a list of songs. Each download takes about 2-5 minutes and the songs are stored on your hard drive. They will be available immediately on the game on the song list for quick play as well as in the World Tour mode for when you make a song list at a venue or are given random songs during a gig.
Here is a list of the songs and 3-song packs currently up for download online:
Queens of the Stone Age Pack- 440 Microsoft Points ($5.49 price tag when broken down to U.S. dollars)
"3's and 7's," "Sick, Sick, Sick," and "Little Sister" are included in the pack. Each song is available separately for 160 points ($1.99). Other song packs also have each single song available for 160 MSP.
Black Sabbath Pack- 440 MS Points
"N.I.B.," "Sweet Leaf," and "War Pigs."
Metallica Pack- 440 MS Points
"Ride the Lightning," "Blackened," and "...And Justice for All."
The Police Pack- 440 MS Points
"Roxanne," "Synchronicity II," and "Can't Stand Losing You."
David Bowie Pack- 440 MS Points
"Moonage Daydream," "Heroes," and "Queen Bitch."
Punk Rock Pack- 440 MS Points
