How to Throw a Fashion Birthday Party for Your Tween Girl

Is your tween daughter into fashion? Do they like trying on new clothes, accessories and shoes? Do they like to create their own outfits? If you've answered "yes" to these questions, then you daughter is most likely a little fashionista. Throwing a party for the tween who has a passion for all things fashion can be easy and fun. One of the first steps of planning a tween fashion birthday party is to create/purchase the birthday party invitations. While you can purchase birthday invitations perfect for your fashion party, it would be more fun to create your own fashionable cards with your tween girl.

The first idea for creating your own tween fashion birthday party invitations would be to use magazine clippings, glue, and card stock. Have your tween daughter clip out shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses from old magazines. Your tween can cut out pictures of clothing or cut clothing shapes out of patterned and colorful magazine pictures. Have your tween daughter glue on their cut out outfits onto the front of the invitation and then draw the body parts, such as the head, arms, and legs.

Using cardstock trace out a pattern in the shape of purses to form the base for your tween fashion birthday party invitations and decorate. You can add glitter to the edges of your paper purses to add some glam to your homemade purse invitations. You can also use stick on jewels to jazz up your party invitations. Write the details of your party on the back of each purse and have your tween daughter hand the invitations out to her friends. Alternatively, you could write the details of the party on the front of the purse and attach a stick of lip gloss, a plastic bracelet, or other fashion accessories on the back of the party invitation.
