I am totally disappointed by the Thai Curry Peanut Noodle Express from the Annie Chun's and this is not at all what I expected from such a reputable brand. I have tasted their Teriyaki Raman Noodles, Spicy Szechuan and Singapore Curry Noodles and always felt that all their sauce comes with a typical Annie flavor without any significant variation in the taste and flavor. In short all of Annie Chun's noodles taste the same with little or no change in the texture. I guess they are mass producing the sauce and do a last minute mix and match to bring out subtle changes in the flavor of the specific noodles.

The Noodle Express is nothing but the same varieties of noodles but that can be prepared instantly like an express train in just a minute compared to the regular microwaveable noodles that require two minutes of preparation time. This is the only reason that motivates me to pick them from the supermarket in spite of their "universal" taste. It is true that this is not fried like the other Ramen or American noodles but at the same time they are too far from the genuine Asian recipe. The Asian community who are used to the real Thai Curry Peanut taste will agree with me on this. Others who taste it for the first time might not make a big fuss about this Anglo-Asian version of the Peanut Noodles.

This is a completely natural noodle with no amount of artificial ingredients and preservatives added to it. This does not contain any trace of MSG and probably these factors make it more appealing. Another interesting feature is the adorable biodegradable bowl that comes with this pack that encourages me to buy them. This is not suitable for celiac patients and others who are allergic to egg products. I find it salty and hence add only three fourth of the sauce.
