Lottery Scams & Online Frauds : Part 1
Prevention Has Always Ben Better Than the Cure !
Hello friends. I’m Ronak R. having a nick name RokZRooM on Associated Content (and a number of other sites). This being my first article on AC let me tell you something about myself as well. I’m from Ahmedabad, India. I am doing my MBA from IIPM and I compose music too (you can listen or download it all right here: http://ronak.sectionzmusic.com or http://music.download.com/ronakr or visit my very own home page http://www.rokzroom.tk ). I guess that’s more than enough.
In a not so far past I just came across Associated Content, and I can say that was a lucky day. I don’t know who actually invited me to join you guys, but I’m really thankful to that person. Associated Content is a superb resource for trust worthy content in any field. I can say so, because people involved in creating the articles are basically those who love the subject. And this is he reason why the content is of top-notch quality, with the best inputs melted and best insights focused on.
Now coming to the topic I actually wanted to discuss. Many of us receive loads of spam on a regular basis (and I dare to think, spammers are more punctual than women on diet). In this mass of spam, some spam-mails successfully pierce the shield of your spam-protection, (sometimes, being deliberately mailed to you and me, or even as a random choice) and what you come to read is “CONGRATULATIONS – YOU’VE ONE 10,000,000 $” or “WINNING NOTIFICATION # 3”. Even if you know that you’ve not filled any such lottery coupon ( tell me, how can you win a lottery without purchasing the entry coupon? ), you will be induced to read, be excited about, and will reply to that spammer giving all your details, building castles in the sky. Anyone would be hallucinated. But, sometimes, there are actual lottery schemes which decide the winners on a random basis. You might be the lucky one. But how to know whether the mail you’ve got is spam or a real life changing opportunity?
