All little girls deserve to have a bedroom that makes them feel like a princess in a garden of flowers, and even if your budget is limited, there are inexpensive ways to decorate a little girl's bedroom with flowers to make her feel special. If you have a little girl who loves flowers and cheerful bedroom décor, consider the following inexpensive and easy ideas. Your little girl will absolutely love the special bedroom you create with flowers, and it will grow and develop into the bedroom of her dreams.

Color Choices

When thinking of a little girl's bedroom, most people immediately think of pink, but when thinking of a bedroom with flowers or a garden theme, green is the color of choice. A green bedroom that portrays a beautiful crisp shade of green foliage can be enhanced with purple or pink highlights and complimentary embellishments.

When looking for inexpensive ways to decorate a little girl's bedroom with flowers, choose her favorite shade of green, and choose either lavender lilacs or beautiful roses in various shades of pink. Her dream bedroom will become a virtual garden filled with the most beautiful colors found in nature.

Make an Inexpensive Picket Fence Headboard

Once the walls in your little girl's bedroom of garden flowers are painted, give her an inexpensive headboard and wall hanging combination unlike anything you'll find ready-made at the store. Visit your local home improvement store, and buy a section of picket fencing that's just the right width to fit directly behind the head of the bed. Continue the garden fence theme by with additional picket fencing for the wall along the side of her bed. Paint the fencing a crisp shade of white. It will stand out beautifully against the green walls, and inexpensive artificial flowers of your choice and artificial ivy can be wound around the fencing.

Very good ideas! I agree that green seems to be the color choice lately - and it especially looks good in combination with purple accents.

I liked this article. It's true that little girls do not need to have pink bedrooms. Green is a great colour to choose. I decorated my bedroom green when I was about 12. Sophie

Makes me wish mine was little again. We did have a picket fence in her garden room. I stenciled flowers behind it, and had a few clouds on the ceiling.
