There were some really awesome songs released in 2007. Unfortunately, there were also some very awful songs released in 2007 as well. Every single song on this list is a song that I have found to be incredibly annoying. To learn what songs I truly hated in 2007, read on.

10. Mims - This is Why I'm Hot

I personally enjoyed "This is Why I'm Hot" the first few times that I heard it. It was not until I realized how incredibly repetitive the lyrics to this songs by Mims are that I truly began to despise it. The fact that it was played on every radio station 24/7 and the default song on just about all of my friends' Myspaces did not help!

9. Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

I've always been a huge Avril Lavigne fan. I think that her song "When You're Gone" is one of the best songs of 2007. Unfortunately, "Girlfriend" is one of the most annoying songs of 2007. What's even worse is the version of "Girlfriend" featuring Lil Mama. Of course, you probably haven't even heard that version of the song. I guess I'm not the only one who thinks it's awful.

8. Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah

The first few times that I heard "Hey There Delilah" by the Plain White T's, I have to admit that it was pretty good. However, after hearing it on the radio probably a thousand times and it being featured in many commercials throughout the year, this song lost any appeal that it may have offered to begin with.

7. Lil Mama - Lip Gloss

Someone as young as Lil Mama sure knows how to make sexual references in her song "Lip Gloss." Unfortunately, that is not the only reason that this song can be hated so easily. The fact that it is so repetitive - and so annoying - is. How many times have you heard the lyrics, "My lip gloss is poppin," this year when you turned on the radio? Hopefully less than me!

6. Leann Rimes - Nothin' Better to Do

I agree that many of these songs are deceptively engaging at first listen, but sooner or later show their weaknesses. There's a reason why I don't listen to the radio much anymore . . .

I must be a million years old, because I didn't recognize a single song! Maybe I should stop listening to the station that has "Spandex Fix at 6" and "Hairspary Cafe" at noon! Oh well, 'bang your head'...LOL! :-)

I wonder if Delilah is still in NYC? *LOL* I'm tired of hearing about her too! ;-) Great picks!

I'm sure I've heard most of these- I just don't know what the name of the songs are, but I've gotta agree with Umbrella and Plain White T's as being annoying and overly played! Great article!
