Which Diaper is Best for Your Baby

I was very blessed at my baby shower to receive enough diapers to last a year. Receiving so many diapers was excellent as I am a first time Mom and didn't know how to put one on, let alone figure out which brand to buy. I think my son has had every disposable diaper that is on the market on his bottom at one time or the other throught the last year. Some were great, some were just plain lousy. Our 2 favorites have come down to Huggies and Luvs.

Huggies diapers are great diapers. The offer diapers in several sizes from preemie to a size 6 which fits 35 pounds and over. I also like the variety of styles to choose from such as Huggies Supreme, Huggies Overnight, Huggies Original, Huggies Newborn, Huggies Preemie and Huggies Convertibles.Huggies is a brand that can grow with your baby from day one thru potty training. I have also found Huggies to have a greater absorbancy than other leading diapers on the market today. Huggies also do not sag when wet as other diapers do. My son never leaks when wet or soiled. I just can't say enough good things about Huggies.

We also like Luvs diapers as well. Luvs diapers come in sizes newborn thru 6. The biggest downfall is there isn't any variety in styles with Luvs. Their diapers are all just plain Luvs. The diapers are stylish with cartoon character Blue from Blues Clues on the front. The also have a quilted design. My favorite feature is the blue leakguard. The leakguard is designed to keep baby dry. My son stays dry with this diaper as well. The only thing I do not like about Luvs is it does bunch and sag when wet.

Both Huggies and Luvs are easy to find in most retail stores such as Wal-Mart and most discount stores such as Dollar General and Family Dillar carry both products. Huggies are usually priced just a little higher than Luvs . I have found it easier to obtain more coupons for Huggies than for Luvs and this does make a difference to me while shopping for diapers. Both Huggies and Luvs have websites where you can register to be on their mailing list to receive coupons and special promotional offers.
