Sick Sad Week: The Best of the Worst of the Week August 7th Edition

I Wonder if He Also Wants to Sleep With Mother…eeewwww!

According to a report on Salon.com, the real reason why Pres. Bush is sitting around eating with his mouth open and molesting female heads of state instead of working to broker another temporary peace in the Middle East is because—big surprise—he and his
neocon puppet masters want peace in the Middle East about as much as George Michael wants to sleep with Lindsay Lohan. That great defender of “open government”, when it’s not his own, of course, Pres. Bush has authorized yet another secret program, number 7031 by my count. Pres. Bush’s latest secret program involves the NSA providing top level intelligence to Israel about Syria and Iran’s moves to provide arms to Hezbollah. The purpose behind the program is to expand the current violence into a four front war. Why? Well, as this administration has proven before, nothing is better for business than the mass killing of people. This new program is also providing more fodder for the increasingly apt description of the relationship between Pres. Bush and his father as Oedipal. It seems that his father and his father’s advisors are outraged at this new development. Apparently, they still labor under the delusion that one should try to negotiate a peace with one’s enemies, not try to further inflame their outrage.

ugh... that Dakota Fanning thing is just disturbing... I have a 10 year old daughter and I think her mother and agent should be jailed for child porn

Good one, Stephanie!

The _Israelis_ may well be on the path to achieving the monstrous barbarity of killing 5 million more Arabs if an A-Bomb gets thrown into this mix, but they are only a segment of "the Jews". So, Truman was wrong, but I will give him a pass, because we still celebrate presidents who owned slaves.

As someone who has hiked that part of the mountain (didn't pee there, though) I can tell you the guy is a moron...I once was lost )I like to call it late arriving) in deep forest in Southern Oregon, in total darkness, on a cold rainy night..I fell into a river, slipped down a ravine, but got myself out..and didn't sue anyone...damn whiners!

Sorry. Politics is my bag. Child abuse is another department. As a rule, I think all show business parents should be locked up. Which is why, when the smiling man from Trading Spouses" came up to me and my family and asked if we'd like to be on their show, we smiled politely and backed away. On the other hand,of course, I am personally willing to disrobe and do a sex scene if it will get me an Oscar. Especially if Halle Berry gets to rape me.

Good to see you're paying attention, Tim.

Jeez, isn't anybody upset that the mother of a 12 year old girl is okay with her filming a rape scene while seminude? I mean you two act as if the big news this week had to do with Israel and the Arabs. Those two duking it out is old news. Roughly 1500 years old. It will never be solved as long as "an eye for eye" drives the so-called diplomatic process.

Actually, I have no idea how many "civilians" were Hezbollah. That's exactly the problem. If the "collateral damage" were my family, I can assure you I'd spend the rest of my life seeking vengeance. Diplomacy can be more than just talk, it can include sactions, rewards, and all sorts of incentives. I think the first goal should be to reach out to Muslim moderates, and empower them to speak out and take the wind out of theextremists sails. But either way, it's a long process. And BTW, Tim is definitly on the left side of things, further than the Democratic party by far. ;)

How many of the "civilians" were part of Hezbollah? There are no uniforms and it is established fact that Hezbollah lives and operates among the populace. We have reached common ground, however. There has to be a better alternative than the two we have discussed so far.

I'm not talking about killing all the Muslims. But talking to Hezbollah and Hamas, both of which call for the destruction of Israel in their charters is futile. Even though everyone else in the world, minus Iran, recognizes that a two-state solution is the best hope for some kind of peace, Hamas and Hezbollah respond by saying they will never, under any circumstances, recognize Israel or make peace with her. Doesn't leave much room for talking.
