A lot of great books were published in 2007. My favorite genre is Christian fiction, and specifically those books written for women readers. I have compiled a list of the five best Christian fiction novels published in 2007, to help you figure out what to read the next time you visit your local library. Enjoy!

1. The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Decked Out by Neta Jackson. This is the seventh and final installment in the Yada Yada series. All seven books follow the lives of an unlikely group of friends that started from a prayer group at a Christian women's conference. This emotional book brings the series to a close, but Ms. Jackson has promised to bring some of the characters back in subsequent books. Each book in the series also comes with tips for your own prayer group, and discussion questions for book clubs. You'll definitely want to check this book (and the previous six) out. I guarantee that once you start reading, you won't be able to put them down!

2. A Sister's Secret by Wanda Brunstetter. I have read every book that Ms. Brunstetter has written to date, and have to say that she is one of my favorite author's. Ms. Brunstetter grew up Amish, and draws from her upbringing to write captivating stories about Amish families. In A Sister's Secret, Grace Hostettler has returned home to her Amish family after her 'running-around' period, with plans to marry a good Amish man and settle down. However, her life is thrown into turmoil when her past comes back to haunt her. You'll definitely want to see how this story ends. Book Two in this series is set for release in early 2008, and will continue Grace's story.

Ready for some good read challenges. Thanks for the direction :-) I am reading "Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light " - great read, but not for this list as it's not fiction.
