Like other nasal sprays, Zicam Extreme Congestion can only be used every 10 to 12 hours for up to three consecutive days. Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen. Wait at least a week before using Zicam Extreme Congestion Relief again.
The instructions on the back of the bottle for use are, 1. Remove cap and safety clip. 2. Hold with thumb at bottom of bottle and nozzle between your fingers. 3. Before using the first time. The inactive ingredients in Zicam Extreme Congestion Relief are alkoxylated diester, aloe barbadensis gel., benzalkonium chloride. benzyl alcohol, disodium EDTA, disodium phosphate, glycerin. Hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxylated lecithin, monosodium phosphate, and purified water.
