Spring Break is a big deal. It is very expensive in most of our worlds, and often the very first time some of us go out of the country. There are many things we need to know to help us get it right. Some of these things we learn by our mistakes. Wouldn't it be nice if we could learn from the mistakes of other people? Never fear...that time is here! I have talked with a lot of people, and done a great deal of Internet research on my favorite Spring Break website. Yes, you guessed it, www.ststravel.com The people at Student Travel Services have done a great job of putting together some basic tips for Spring Break planning. They call it Spring Break 101. I would suggest you visit their site and read everything in detail. I will offer my own suggestions, but I do suggest you visit their site and review what they have to offer for advice.

Set a Budget and stick with it. Decide from the beginning how much you can spend. Plan to spend the maximum you can afford, you will not regret it. However, do not go over the Spring Break budget you established. That you may regret when you are trying to play catch up with you money after the trip! Start your Spring Break planning as early as possible.

Takeaways
  • Set a Budget and stick with it.
  • Do want to go with the best parties or best beaches? I know where to find both!
  • Bad people choices can ruin a great Spring Break experience.
Did You Know?
The most important lesson you should take from this reading however, is never, ever venture off alone. This is important for both males and females. Always plan excursions as a group of three or more.
