Just about every graduation follows the same dress code: shapeless gown topped off with a goofy hat. Just having bright red shoes, a red bracelet, and red earrings on will save your graduation look without making you look over the top. It is all in the Hair: Since graduation caps are not the most flattering hats in the world, find a hairstyle that will help balance out the cap's awkward shape. For some people this will be curly hair, and others it will be slick, straight hair. Also, getting side bangs may also make the graduation cap not look so awkward.

Get Your Gown Altered: If it is okay with your school, you may want to spend some money having your gown altered. You do not want it tight. However, get your gown taken in slightly so that you can tell where your bust line ends and your waist begins. Getting your gown altered is really not a big deal.
