Stylin' With Shoes: Since everyone will look the same from neck to knee, why not show your fashion sense through your shoes. If it is appropriate, where a bright color heel like red, pink, or purple. You can even opt to go for a printed heel. Nothing is sexier than a zebra stripped or floral print heel! If you must stick with a black shoe, find cute ones with bow or jeweled detail. You can even start a fun tradition of having all of your classmates or friends signing the bottom of your shoe!
Awesome Accessories: Why not make your graduation gown look a bit better with some accessories. You can go elegant and chic with a pretty diamond/rhinestone necklace and tennis bracelet. You can also go fun and wild with bold colored bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. A fun idea is to coordinate your accessories with your shoes. Just having bright red shoes, a red bracelet, and red earrings on will save your graduation look without making you look over the top. If having loud accessories is not your style, why not invest in a sexy anklet instead?
It is all in the Hair: Since graduation caps are not the most flattering hats in the world, find a hairstyle that will help balance out the cap's awkward shape. For some people this will be curly hair, and others it will be slick, straight hair. Also, getting side bangs may also make the graduation cap not look so awkward.
Get Your Gown Altered: If it is okay with your school, you may want to spend some money having your gown altered. You do not want it tight. However, get your gown taken in slightly so that you can tell where your bust line ends and your waist begins. Getting your gown altered is really not a big deal. Everyone will look as shapeless as you do in them.
