First of all, we don't know if the 4th season will even finish. As you know, the television studios have yet to find a compromise with the Writers Guild of America. With the writers still on strike, only eight episodes of Lost are supposedly finished. If ABC does find an agreement with the writers and the strike is ended, you can expect this season to end in May.
But what of the actual plot? What twist and turns can we expect in Lost's convoluted stories that have made it the popular television series that it is today?
If you remember, the last season of Lost concluded with the show's survivors talking to a ship off the coast of the island that they're on...at least, they think it's a ship. It has been hinted in the show that it isn't a boat and that whoever is coming to the island is more evil than the Others (the show's characters' current nemesis).
The producers of Lost over at ABC have surrounded the show with utter silence, refusing to talk about anything to prevent any spoilers from getting out to the general public. While fan sites have been afire with rumors, the only information we can go off of is information that was talked about at Comic-Con 2007. There, several Lost associates answers questions from Lost fans.
What we do know for sure can be deduced from what we don't know and from what has been hinted to be revealed from within the show itself. In this coming season of Lost, we'll find out if Kate is having Sawyer's baby (since the beginning of the show, there has been a tense attraction between Kate and bad-boy Sawyer, much to doctor/leader Jack's chagrin).
We'll also discover what happened inside of the Hatch when it imploded. And what the heck happened to our favorite Asian, Sun, and her baby?
