So while out the other day it dawned on me that I should counsel with a new neighbor of mine and try to decipher the appropriate steps to take by way of their services. Salon Bellezza (636 B Long Point Rd; Belle Hall Shopping Center Mt. Pleasant SC 29464) was this particular counsel and even though we'd just been married and had an amazing and relaxing honeymoon, I felt that now would be a good time to posit a visit to the salon for my sweetie so that we could approach the next challenge in our lives with a fresh radiant head of hair followed by a scalp massage, manicure/pedicure, and maybe even a rub down.
When I skirted away to the Salon Bellezza front desk area while my sweetheart tranquilly sipped her morning coffee next door, I was greeted by four young ladies who obviously looked to me and my sank demeanor as desperately in need of their services. They were all friendly enough but they actually scattered when I asked about the services they offered. I guess my demeanor is a direct reflection of my monetary worth to them.
I did get to speak to the woman at the desk, Jenny, who went over their full line of spa, hair treatment, and nail services (no rub down here; my search continues) While I'm no expert the cost of these services in general seemed rather high and highly prone to be in flux ($25-$75 for their least expensive manicure to their most expensive "spa pedicure") and they also had a handy set of up-charges ($12-$15 for "polish change"...you mean nail polish remover? And it's not a set price? It can cost more depending on the availability of polish remover?)
