Britney "Let Go" by Lawyers

Britney Spears is still making waves, proving that not even having a lot of money is enough to help you keep a lawyer. TMZ reported that Britney's lawyers have left her partially due to her refusal to follow legal advice and failure to show up for a deposition that has been rescheduled multiple times. This isn't the first time that Britney has parted ways with an attorney, Laura Wasser removed herself as council last year.

According to documents filed with the court, Trope and Trope, the firm that was representing her has declared a motion to be relieved as council. The stated reason for the split? "There has been a breakdown in communications between Petitioner and Trope and Trope making further representation of her interests impossible." To make matters worse, the documents show that her lawyers served her with the severance notice via mail. How's that for a breakup?

What does this mean? Well, initially it means that Britney's in the market for a great civil attorney. Money aside, the attorney that chooses to become a part of this three ring circus will be facing an uphill battle. It's imperative, especially in a high profile custody battle that you follow the advice of your attorneys. Something that you could speculate wasn't happening with this last set of attorneys. The best thing for Britney to do now, is to try and behave herself, and listen to the advice of her attorney.

Like so many though, Britney seems like she's on a spiral down, down, down. She may not stop until it is far too late. Unless she plans to attend law school and represent herself a la Legally Blond she's going to have to follow the advice of her attorneys or find a Lawyer that doesn't mind losing.

Custody cases are never easy, but with reports that Britney is asking for the kids to be drug tested, and claiming that ex-husband Kevin Federline, or K-Fed, is exposing them to toxic substances, the case has long passed the circus stage and moved on to the absurd.
