I have never written a new year resolution before. So in January 2, 2008, I am trying to chalk out some important things that I could do in this year. The new year brings hope and I should make my family happy and make myself happy with my achievements and try my best to reduce the failures. I would be careful to take the important decisions taking into account the pros and cons. A bad decision might land me into trouble as I have seen from my previous experience.

  1. I love to do yoga and so I will try to do either yoga or some exercise every day giving a break after 6 days. As we all know health is wealth and a sedentary job like mine needs some exercise.
  2. Drinking lots of water is an important factor. It helps us to be healthy internally and water is good for the skin just as vitamins.
  3. Do my present job as best as possible. I am doing medical transcription at present. So unless and until I get something better, I will stick to it and do my best.
  4. Playing synthesizer. I will try to do it on alternate days. We all know music reduces stress and playing a Casiotone CT-670 is pleasure. You feel happy after half an hour playing and this is my friend since I was in class 2.
  5. Playing harmonica. I will love to play harmonica when there is a power cut as it runs with the fuel of our body---air we exhale, carbon dioxide . It is a great entertainer in office parties.
  6. Getting up early...as I am always doing in my present job in morning shift. I wake up daily at 5 a.m. to reach my office at 7 a.m.
  7. Doing right things at right time. Priority is very important in life without which success never comes!!!
  8. Make more friends through networking sites and good friends refresh your mind and you feel happy and love to live long and long and long.......!
  9. Be economically sound so that in time of trouble I can help myself. Self-dependent or independent individual is essential as in this world, in times of need only parents are your best friends except a few exceptional friends!
  10. Practice meditation daily and be calm and cool in hard times!

As life moves along...

Trouble may come

Trouble may go

You being firm as a tree..

With deep roots of confidence...

Can withstand the storms of life....

HI, I quite agree that health is wealth. I am a girl with a few extra pounds. A member from pluscupid.com asked me to try yoga. I enjoy this excercise very much and have it 3 times a week.

Hi Pratanu, I think it's simple yet very pertinent. I liked it.
