Chris Long - Virginia - The man with the endless motor could a major player at the top of the NFL draft in 2008. Long has increased his production each year of college, culminating with 79 tackles (19 for a loss), 14 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 10 pass deflections and an interception. He's viewed as
the most complete linemen in the draft. His final performance, the Gator Bowl against Texas Tech, Long 4 tackles, 3 deflected passes and harassed the quarterback most of the day. Long projects to be an impact defensive player in the NFL for many years to come.

Derrick Harvey - Florida - Harvey will skip his senior year and likely to a 1st round selection in April. Harvey made his mark with his 3 sack performance against Ohio State in the BCS championship game, leading Florida to the victory. He's 6'4" with ideal speed to turn the corner and harass quarterbacks on the next level.

Calais Campbell - Miami - Campbell has drawn comparisons to Mario Williams, the former #1 draft pick. Campbell is 6'8", the tallest player on Miami's roster, and weighs 280 pounds. At this point, he's average against the run, but with his height and speed, Campbell will impress every scout at the combine, much like Mario Williams. Every NFL team can use another pass rusher and Campbell fits the bill.

Lawrence Jackson - USC - Jackson has been invited to the Senior Bowl after the 2007 season, after collecting 55 tackles and 9.5 sacks. Jackson has ideal size for defensive end - 6'5", 270 lbs. Many analysts have him as an All-Pac-10 player and All-American. Look for Jackson to be off the board between picks 15 and 45.

Chris Ellis - Virginia Tech - Ellis has ideal speed and size for the NFL and played his best games in 2007 against top competition. He's one of the fastest defensive ends in the draft and has a motor close to Chris Long out of Virginia. Chris Ellis is a solid 2nd round selection in April.
