One of the newest crazes in foundation makeup is the invention of mineral powder foundations. Products like Sheer Cover and bare Minerals dominate this market. Mineral powder foundation makeup is 100% pure natural ingredients, free of oils, irritants, talc, and preservatives. Basically, products like bare Minerals and Sheer Cover are answers to a growing demand for natural products that work. Mineral powder foundations go two steps further than traditional liquid foundations and one step past those powder foundations that go on like a powder but cover like a liquid. By offering the amazing coverage of a liquid foundation, but eliminating the messy bottle, breakouts, and caked on look that many liquid foundations have, products like Sheer Cover and Bare Minerals have virtual taken over the mineral powder foundation market.

Although you might be tempted to believe that companies and products like bare Minerals are relatively new, you would be mistaken. Bare Minerals has been around since 1976. Personally, I just began seeing these products on infomercials about five years ago. There are many knock offs of these two great products, but I personally don't see why anyone would settle for less than the real deal. You can buy bare Minerals online at their website or locally in their stores. To buy Sheer Cover you has to purchase it online or over the telephone directly from the company. I will provide ordering information at the end of the article. First though, we have to get down to the battle royal of Sheer Cover versus bare Minerals.

Takeaways
  • Mineral powder foundation makeup is 100% pure natural ingredients.
  • Ease of application and coverage would be the two major key points for any foundation.
  • Both Sheer Cover and Bare Minerals are equally easy and quick to apply.

Beauty comes from the inside so I agree with you that you have to balance your hormones. I use and love the Enfuselle Skin Care line.

has anyone tried proactiv solution products? i have been using the sulfur concealer with the sheer cover kit and not only does it cover up flaws but it also helps to clear up my acne at the same time. i like sheer cover, but i want to try bare minerals to see which one works better for me. so far sheer cover has no complaints. i can't wait to receive my bare minerals shipment.

i have been ordering Bare Escentuals for nearly two years now, and I love how it makes me look! As long as your face is moisturized, and not flaky, the mineral goes on like magic! With the transcluent powder, the makeup stays on all day too. I think I am actually going to order a darker shade of Bare Es. because I've started tanning again, but the warmth powder that also comes with Bare Es. is one of my favorites! It absolutely makes you glow with a sun-kissed face! People also compliment me all the time on how pretty my skin looks, (but they don't really know the secret!) =) I have a friend who ordered Sheer Cover. She's been using it for a couple of months now and swears by it, but I don't think it covers her well enough. But, that's just what I think--she absolutely loves it though... Whichever one you choose, I'm sure you'll know if it's right for you or not. I'm positive I will stick with Bare Es. for a long while... =)

I'm so glad I finally found an article from someone who compared these two products. I've been a huge fan of Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals, but always wondered if Sheer Cover was somehow better. I'm glad to know I've made a wise choice! Oh, and by the way, Bare Minerals can also be purchased from QVC.com (just search for Bare Escentuals - that's the correct spelling of the brand name). :-)

I just ordered this today! Home sick. I couldn't wait to write an AC article on it. I am happy to have read yours -even though it was after the fact- now I am glad I did. I shall still do an article on it with what I think. :-) Great info!

When it comes to makeup, I am a no-fuss kind of girl. I fell in love with bare! It is incredibly quick for me to put on. I have even fallen asleep wearing it and I actually still looked good in the morning AND it didn't irritate my skin. Thanks for the great article!

I was in Bed Bath & Beyond the other day, in Florida, and they had Sheer Cover for sale in there. I believe it was $39.99 for the kit. This particular store had a new toiletry section with makeup, nail polish, shampoo, etc. It was in a section labeled, "As seen on TV", and had Leeza on the box. Just thought someone might like to know!

Don't do it! Read the input from others that have tried Sheer Cover on infomercialscams.com first...you will change your mind!

I have order sheer cover. They have messed up my order so many times but after the 5th time they got it right. I like how it makes me look but when I sweat it comes off. like every other make up I try. I can't find a makeup that stays on for the love of it. When I use people phone they are like yuck because it comes off. So I guess I am gonna cancel my subscription.

If the make up does what the commercial says it does then yes, I believe it'll work... I hope anyway!!
