Transportation to the Disney theme parks, water parks and shopping area of Downtown Disney is a breeze with the many forms of transportation. Monorail service, boat service and bus service are all available from this fine resort.
While staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and spa, the very special Perfectly Princess Tea Party is a delight for daughters and is available for an extra cost. The event also includes a gift and is worth checking out for something special. The Pirates Adventure is another fun event perfect for the young ones ages four through ten. You may want to also check out the Grand Adventures in cooking where your little ones can decorate a chef’s hat and make some goodies.
A pool with a sand bottom will help you cool down with a gentle zero depth entry. Enjoy the waterfall or slip and slide down the waterslide. There is a second quieter pool to enjoy as well. You may prefer to relax while sunning on the sandy beach at the Seven Seas Lagoon.
The Grand Floridian Spa and Health Club offer relaxation at the spa or fitness activities at the health club. The Spa Boutique is a perfect place for a massage or facial. Introduce your preteen to their first facial and start their skin care off right. The health club offers personal trainers for those interested. If you prefer some down time for a relaxing massage, drop the younger kids off at the Mouseketeer Club for some schedule activities.
