CATS Rescue and Adoption

CATS focuses in on cats of all ages. These animals have been generally abused or abandoned, and there are always cats and kittens available of all types. The adoptions are done through Petsmart of La Jolla.
San Diego Humane Society and SPCA

Is the largest humane society in San Diego. It is affiliated with the SPCA so it gets marginally more funding and clout. Rabbits, cats and dogs are readily available for adoption here.
Feral Cat Coalition

Specializes in finding, saving and sterilizing feral cats. Feral cats are those that have gone wild after domestication, and they are no longer conducive to a home environment.
