The Fox News Channel has always had the stigma of being a conservative news network despite its motto "fair and balanced". Many Democratic presidential candidates have refused to appear on the station because of its apparent conservative bias, with the exception of Dennis Kucinich. Prominent Republican presidential candidates such as Rudy Giuliani and John McCain have appeared on the Fox News Channel countless times. But why is the New Hampshire Republican Party now refusing to sponsor in Fox News' forum?
Fox News did not invite Ron Paul or Duncan Hunter to its debate, which has drawn controversy from many Republicans. Those who were invited were Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, and Rudy Giuliani. The New Hampshire Republican Party tried to reach an agreement with Fox News Channel to allow Paul and Hunter to appear. However, that attempt failed, which has resulted in the New Hampshire Republican Party to withdraw its sponsorship from the forum. This forum is the last chance for Republican candidates to get their message out in New Hampshire on television before the January 8th primary.
Fox News did not disclose how it chose the candidates. Some have speculated that they were chosen if they had at least ten percent or more in the national polls. However, Paul carried about ten percent of the votes during the Iowa caucus, which demonstrates he still is a viable candidate for the Republicans.
Kevin Anderson, a political science student, says this is smart for the New Hampshire Republican party. "They have always been closely connected with the Fox News Channel, and the network wanted to say what candidate could run. It was good for the party to stand up to the station and say no to them. The party definitely feels that it is up to the people to decide who they want to run, not some television station."

We have known that they are neither fair or balanced, and their motto YOU DECIDE 2008 should be called FOX NEWS DECIDES FOR YOU 2008. Does Faux Noise really understand the backlash that has begun against them. We will dump their stock; boycott, call, and e-mail their advertisers; and worst heckle their talking heads wherever they are seen in any public venue. Did they want a war against us, it won't be any conventional war, but it will be just as devastating to their ratings, their earnings, and their sanity if they had any before it. Faux Noise is going down this time.

When you're filling your car with $3 gas and buying some $2.65 a dozen eggs, remember who is running on stopping deficit spending. The war for oil is what caused prices for anything that eats grain to skyrocket. When THOSE prices rise, the fresh fruit seller raises his prices again, now you have some nice $5 a pound grapes in the market. Laugh all you want, it's YOUR money being spent. YOU'RE the one going to pay $250 a week for groceries. Still think Ron Paul sounds like a bad idea? He's the ONLY candidate, Republican or Democrat that is running on reducing your cost of living. Maybe you have plenty money. Me, I'm not so rich.

Ron Paul is the only person running who is not a flip flopper and will stay within the constraint of the constitution in his presidency, all the others will be more of the same regardless of party. When will we have had enough? look up the council on foreign relations, there goal is to erase the boarders between america canada and mexico...fred thompson, john mcain, rudy and mike huckabee all have either spoke to or are members of the CFR. Look at judicial watch, they have a list of the ten most corrupt politicians, republican candidates on the list, huckabee and rudy giuliani, democrat hillary and obama, wake up people these other politicians are only interested in their own pockets and care little of emptying yours in the process. our founding fathers would be ashamed

Great article! It all boils down to what one considers "fair and balanced", and after comparing all the news networks, Fox News always has my vote. That is not to say I always agree with what is stated on their shows. I'm not a sheep being led about. For the most part, I tend to watch Fox. The only CNN I ever watch is Glenn Beck!
