Marathon 13 at Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood

If you are interested in seeing a wild night of fresh theatre in Los Angeles or if you are just waiting to go back to New York City and you're feeling blue, come on down to the Theatre of NOTE on Saturday, January 19th to see the Marathon 13.

This is a short play festival to beat all short play festivals. With your admittance at 2PM n Saturday you get a hand stamp so you may come and go as you please. However you might not want to make a move as the show starts at 2PM and ends at 4AM. Fourteen hours of short theatre may seem like a lot for some but there are so many others who are very excited about this festival.

As part of full disclosure, I have a vested interest in seeing as many people at this festival as possible since one of my new shows, "Waiting for Jihad" will be playing at this festival. I haven't decided if we got a really good time slot or a really bad time slot; although we go on towards the beginning of the day (2:45PM) which I guess is good in so far as there will be very little chance that our show will be delayed starting time. So if you want to come on out make sure you come see me; but stay all day!

If history is any guide this is one of those festivals that everyone in Hollywood comes to check out. It allegedly gets packed early and remains that way all day so you should get there early and stay as late as possible. I'll be reporting back on Associated Content on my overall opinion of the program and how things went down. Also I'll be reporting back on my blog about many of the shows (or as many as I can possibly hope to see)

So if you are down in the area on Saturday, January 19 and you want to see some great theatre, you should let me know soon! I'd love to meet as many Associated Content producers as I can; I hope to be there the whole day and most of the night so please make yourself known as this looks like the best value for theatre I've ever seen (it works out to something like $1.07 an hour).

So come early, come often, just come on out to the Theatre of NOTE (1517 Cahuenga Blvd in Hollywood just north of Sunset Blvd)
