I’ll admit it; I’m one of those people that smell their clothes after they come out of the dryer. If you use a cheap laundry detergent you’ll usually smell nothing when you stick your nose down into the folds of your clothes. Even if you use fabric softener, the damage is already done by using an inferior laundry detergent. Some of the cheaper laundry detergents will get your clothes clean, but I don’t feel that my clothes are truly clean unless they have a pleasant smell after being washed. Two of my favorite laundry detergents are Tide and Gain, but which one is better at getting your clothes clean and smelling wonderful?
Tide laundry detergent is one of the most expensive laundry detergents on the market, but I have to say, the regular Tide laundry detergent, doesn’t leave your clothes smelling so great. When I first tried Tide laundry detergent I was really disappointed, but then I received a sample of Tide with Febreze and I was in love with Tide laundry detergent. Tide with Febreze laundry detergent is great for washing things like towels and sheets. Tide does offer other neat products such as Tide Coldwater that cleans clothes just as well in cold water as hot. Tide also has Tide to Go which allows you to remove stains while you’re out and about. Their new laundry detergents have essential oils added to them to make them smell even better. They include Vanilla and Lavender, Lily and Jasmine, and Rose and Violet. Tide works really well at getting your clothes clean, but if you have stubborn stains you can use Tide with Bleach Alternative. If you’re like me, and are always forgetting to add fabric softener to your laundry, you will love Tide with a touch of Downy laundry detergent.
