Hoboken, the square mile city just across the Hudson River from Manhattan, seems to be getting more expensive each and every year. But if you live or work in Hoboken, New Jersey, you don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get an excellent lunch. Here are some cheap lunch restaurants in Hoboken, New Jersey. Vito's Italian Deli is one of the most popular lunch spots in Hoboken. Located at 806 Washington Street, Vito's Italian Deli serves up delicious sub sandwiches at very reasonable prices. The subs at Vito's Italian Deli are packed with fresh meat, and they serve some of the best fresh mozzarella in New Jersey. (Seriously, their fresh mozz is so tasty, it has won a good many awards). You can get a great lunch at Vito's Italian Deli, including an ice cold drink, for under ten dollars. They even have a couple tables to sit at outside, if the weather allows. The only downside to Vito's Italian Deli is their lines during the lunch hour. If you are in a rush, Vito's Italian Deli may not work for you. Get there early (or late) to avoid the lunch rush. You can call Vito's Italian Deli at 201-792-4944, or you can visit their new web site at vitosdeli.com.
If you would prefer a nice, relaxing sit-down lunch meal in Hoboken, pay a visit to Tutta Pasta, located downtown at 200 Washington Street. Their lunch menu is very cheap, especially considering the quality of food and service you will receive. If you have an entire hour for lunch, you can enjoy a relaxing meal at Tutta Pasta with plenty of time to spare. I highly recommend their chicken marsala, along with a piping hot bowl of soup. The lunch specials at Tutta Pasta are all prepared to perfection (I've ordered every single one), and you can't go wrong on the price. For more information, you can contact Tutta Pasta at 201-792-9102.
