Valentine's Day is a very special day for every couple. Finding things to do in some towns can be difficult because of how small they are. If you know the area, however, you can easily find somewhere romantic to go that is most of the time free. In the Tri-State Area around the meeting point of Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia, there are many small towns in which many people think there is nothing to do. I am here to tell you, however, that this is not true; there are many romantic spots that are perfect for Valentine's Day, or a special place to propose to that special someone.

In the Tri-State Area there are small towns such as Murphy, North Carolina, Blue Ridge, Georgia, Copperhill, Tennessee, McCaysville, Georgia, Epworth, Georgia, Mobile Georgia, Ducktown, Tennessee, Turtletown, Tennessee, Farner, Tennessee, Mineral Bluff, Georgia, Ellijay Georgia, Jasper, Georgia, Blairsville Georgia, Benton, Tennessee, Ocoee, Tennessee, Old Fort, Tennessee, Cleveland, Tennessee, Georgetown, Tennessee, Morganton, Georgia, and Hemptown , Georgia. Many of these small towns are just a short driving distance from each other, while others are up to 2 hours apart due to the nature of their backwoods location. For people living here, you know what beauty and scene ability the area has. The beautiful mountains, picturesque creeks, and waterfalls only add to the romanticism of the area. We even have a few famous people from the area that most people in the U.S now know. For one Mark Wills was raised here in our very own Blue Ridge as was Cohutta from the Real World Sydney. Cohutta was named for the beautiful Cohutta Mountains that are housed in Fannin County which is also the home of many of the small towns listed.
