Tom Cruise has gone on to do many things with his life. He has made many movies and been the talk of Hollywood ever since he first got into acting. His new role as a dad, has gotten many people to talk including the author of the unauthorized biography on Tom Cruise, Andrew Morton.

Morton has made a lot of claims in this new book that is due to release soon and it has gotten Tom Cruise fired up. Tom Cruise has denied the claims made in the unauthorized biography and rumors of his suing the publishers of the book have been circulating.

Why does Tom Cruise feel that he has the right to sue the publishers of the unauthorized biography? Taking a look at Tom Cruise's past history and what all that he has accomplished including becoming a dad, this book has slandered his name to the point of claiming that his child is the cause of a sperm donation by the late founder of the church Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard as reported by FoxNews.com.

Cruise has gone on to say that the unauthorized biography is based on a pack of lies and that it was not properly researched or written. According to CourierMail.com.au, the author of the book, Andrew Morton, did not conduct any research interviews with any of the famous actor's friends or family members. Morton was said to have gotten his information from people who Cruise has not talked to in 30 years and so according to Cruise, this information can not be trusted.

The book will not be sold in the United Kingdom because of the laws against books that are unauthorized. This could mean that Morton may lose a great deal of money especially if Tom Cruise sues him for the damages that it has caused.

This unauthorized biography has not only gotten Tom Cruise fired up but it has also gotten the members of the Scientology wanting an end to come to this. In the book, Morton not only makes accusations about Tom Cruise, but the Scientology also calling it a cult amongst other things.

I am glad that he is speaking what is true to him! I hope that people can see that he is really a nice guy who is trying to help this planet! Just because he does something that people don't understand doesn't make him less than he is and was. He has done some great movies and things in the past and will do so in the future! So just see him for that and not how you percieve him to be. Look at the good in people and not the bad! Hope that everything turns out nice with this and I know that he will move on and that he will be fine!

Tom Cruise was an okay movie star. Now he is strange and talks too much. But, I like his wife Katie Holmes. Good article.

Wow....this book has gotten a lot of press coverage. I do think Tom Cruise kind of creeps me out. But, to be honest, I really don't like it when celebrities venture out of their prescribed area and begin to tell those of us who live in the trying-to-just-get-by side of America how to win their lives. It's one thing when they ask for money for St. Jude's. It's another when they begin telling us what religion we should be, how we should vote, etc. Good article.

I used to like Tom Cruise, but afraid he is getting creepier and creepier all the time, and the Scientology thing? Well I think that this Morton guy has researched this book a little better than Cruise is counting on.

Good article, Rosa. I think it's sadly ironic that many of the same people who call Tom Cruise crazy because of Scientology believe that a man rose from the dead 2000 years ago. Scientology is no crazier than Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. At least we know L. Ron Hubbard actually lived.

Maybe if Tom had let Morton gain access to his "inner circle", the book would have been different. It's not that he didn't try, but that Cruise wouldn't let him. Me thinks someone has something to hide...:-)
