Cuisinart Supreme Grind DBM-8 Electric Burr Grinder: Review

Cuisinart Supreme Grind DBM-8 Electric Burr Grinder may have its own share of positive and negative feedbacks, but for me it gives a decent performance till date.
I am really a certified coffee addict and I love this machine for a variety of reasons. I used to have a blade mill sometime back as I was not aware of the importance of Burr grinder types and I wonder why I opted for a blade mill. One serious problem, I faced with blade mill was the amount of heat generated while cutting the coffee beans. Irrespective of the quality of the beans I bought, I received horrible coffee as coffee blade bill tends to generate a very high amount of heat.. No wonder, I opted for this Cuisinart Supreme Grind DBM-8 Electric Burr Grinder.

And I am delighted to have coffee in all its glory. This burr grinder works flawlessly. I am always blessed with a uniform product. It makes a lot of noise though. Every burr grinder makes a lot of noise so there is no need to make any fuzz about this issue. Moreover, for something around 50$, if you ask for noise cancellation mechanism, definitely you must be joking.

Cuisinart Supreme Grind DBM-8 Electric Burr Grinder is an elegant looking unit. The hopper at the top is made of plastic and this is where you need to place your coffee beans. The unit automatically stops once the process of grinding is over as it knows at what time it needs to stop to give you that fine powder. This automatic feature is a worthy addition as you may never know the time involved in grinding coffee beans. In short, it does not confuse you with the time involved in it. Just switch it on, it grinds and it switches off automatically,
