I was wondering whether to buy the Cuisinart Ice-30BC Pure Indulgence Automatic Frozen Maker given the fact that I already have a fully functional original ice cream maker from the Cuisinart itself. But then when I saw it at my friends place I couldn't resist myself and went ahead and got it for $79 and my previous one cost me only half this amount. This is a fully automatic and versatile frozen dessert maker that makes different varieties of ice creams, yogurt and sorbets. My husband just loves frozen drinks and this machine has made him addicted to it.

I would highly recommend this to all those who have been using the traditional crank style or the bucket type ice cream makers to go for the Cuisinart Ice-30BC and enjoy the difference. Making ice cream at home has never been so easy and the long drawn laborious process is one of the major reasons that most of the people hesitate to make ice cream at home. This sophisticated machine does not rob you the simple pleasure of enjoying ice cream with the family and friends.

This compact ice cream machine does not require much of a storage space and is well built to last long. This looks stylish and looks stunning with the shining stainless steel exterior body. It can withstand the impact and I use it almost on all the week ends. I guess it is the powerful motor that makes the process smooth and easy. This is an absolute 'no problem' ice cream maker and the credit goes to the dedicated motor. The power of the motor is reflected in the noise that it makes. However it is not frustrating like the blender or juicers.

The Cuisinart supplies a recipe book along with this machine and to be honest it is trash. It is a criminal waste of time and money to follow the kind of instructions given in the recipe booklet. To make best use of this machine I would suggest you to buy the "Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book". Ice cream making is so easy and I just thrown in what ever I feel like. Ice cream can be made with or without custard. But I find that if custard is not used the final product is not fluffy and soft.
