For more than a decade, Brett Farve has been the face of the Green Bay Packers. His leadership abilities and natural instinct has earned him the title of one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. For what may be his last year in the NFL season, Brett Farve will try to do what he does best and make another championship run with the Packers. However, critics and fans are beginning to wonder whether it was a good choice for Farve to return for one more year. Has the game passed him by? It surely looked so in 2005, but anyone who has been watching football for awhile knows that it’s never safe for opposing defenses when Farve is on the field. The problem is not with Brett Farve, it’s the rest of the Packers team. Does Farve have the weapons on offense to help him win this upcoming season? Will the defensive unit be able to stop opposing offenses from scoring?

Lets take a look at the team that surrounds future hall of fame quarterback Brett Farve.

Back up quarterback Aaron Rogers has one more year to learn the game under the tuteledge of Brett Farve. Hopefully when it is his turn to play, there will be more help on offense for him. Right now, running back Ahman Green (besides Brett Farve) is the most talented player on offense. If Green is able to stay healthy for the season, the offense becomes twice as good as last year. Back-ups Najeh Davenport, Samkon Gado, and Noah Herron are very good when coming off the bench and should give Ahman Green a good breather throughout the season.
