If you're low on storage space or have a tight decorating budget, you don't need more than one wreath for Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day, or the Fourth of July. One single wreath can be easily transformed into a wreath for many holiday occasions as well as autumn, and it can be decorated and redecorated again and again. A single inexpensive red foil wreath can be decorated for all of the aforementioned occasions and more in a few easy steps. Choose a grapevine wreath and the options are endless!

Adding Decorations

Decorations for any holiday or occasion can easily be attached to a wreath with clear thread. Decorations that can be attached without the ties being seen can be wired on instead of attached with thread for ease of removal. Narrow wires can easily be twisted tight and untwisted, and they can be saved and reused again and again. I recommend using narrow gauge wire whenever possible when decorating wreaths, and monofilament or clear thread for all other applications.

Where to Find Inexpensive Holiday Craft Décor

One of the cheapest sources for holiday craft décor is your local Wal-Mart store. I found a large container of mini metallic wrapped gifts that were perfect for adding to my red holiday wreath. The craft department at Wal-Mart also offered many other choices for decorations including mini candy canes, gold pinecones, and mini strings of lights. When other holidays approach you'll find other holiday packs of craft décor, and I plan to buy what I can from Wal-Mart since it tends to be the most inexpensive source for craft supplies.

Michael's is also a great source for inexpensive holiday craft décor. Large craft retailers offer a larger selection than Wal-Mart, and they run many sales. I recently found glass beads on clearance, and the amount of money I saved enabled me to buy Valentine's Day décor for my all-occasion holiday wreath.

I think you should market this as the new "green" wreath....lol! Environmentally friendly, adaptable, and inexpensive. Great job on this as always!
