If you are an Elvis fan like I am, you know that tomorrow is the King's 73rd birthday. I was born on July 23, 1977, and only shared this world with Elvis for 24 days, but I dearly miss him. I personally have been to Graceland four times, most recently in November 2007, and then again in December 2007, and am very sad that I cannot be there tomorrow. If you are like me, and you are not lucky enough to live in Memphis, you can still celebrate Elvis's birthday at home.

There are a lot of events, both in Memphis and elsewhere to commemorate the day. Here are some ideas for events that you can participate in from the comfort of your own home, and connect with fans all over the world. Please note that all times listed in this article are central.

Watch Elvis on TV. There are a LOT of Elvis movies, biographies, documentaries, interviews and other shows on television tomorrow. Light a candle in memory of Elvis, and watch some of these great shows. Here is a large listing of shows (but not all-encompassing - there may be other shows on your local television stations).

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) always airs some of Elvis' 31 movies, and 2 documentaries on his birthday. Tomorrow, TCM will be showing Elvis: That's The Way It Is at 5:00 a.m., followed by It Happened At The World's Fair at 6:45 a.m. Kissin' Cousins will air at 8:45 a.m., and then you can watch Viva Las Vegas at 10:30 a.m., and Harum Scarum at noon. There's more - Spinout airs at 1:45 p.m., Live A Little, Love A Little is on at 3:30 p.m., and things wrap up with Stay Away Joe at 5:00 p.m.

The Biography Channel (BIO) will be showing several biographies related to Elvis. First, Elvis & June, A Love Story is on at 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This tells of Elvis' rise to fame in 1956, and of the love (June Juanico, a young girl from Biloxi, MS) that Elvis left behind. Next Biography: Priscilla Presley - Keeper of a Dream airs at 8:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday. This chronicles Priscilla's chance meeting with a young Army Sergeant named Elvis Presley, their long and sometimes tumultuous relationship, and her life after Elvis.
