Model and Actress, Lauren London - Who is She?

Born Lauren Nicole London on December 5, 1984 in L.A., California into a single parent household. A stunning girl of mixed heritage she defines herself as black. At the age of 18 she began her modeling career by appearing in several Hip-Hop and Rap music videos. She was acclaimed by many music video critics as "a great new sister on the scene". The video music work she did got her the attention of people in the movie industry. That attention soon led to an audition for her first movie. Late by 2 hours for the audition she landed the role and made her acting debut in 2006 in a movie titled ATL. She played the part of a roller skating rich girl that falls in love. Her latest movie is "This Christmas", which was released in late 2007. She has also made several appearances in the TV shows Entourage (an HBO movie) and Everybody Hates Chris.

Her first love was working on the sets of the music videos. She loves Hip-Hop music and attends concerts regularly. She has a wide circle of friends in the Hip-Hop and Rap music industry and has been publicly photographed with some of the biggest names in music.

Her first appearance on a magazine cover was for the King magazine for their July/August 2006 issue. She was nominated in 2006 for best supporting actress in the Black Movie Awards. In the fall of 2007, Diddy produced a woman's line of fashion clothes called Sean John. He signed on 3 women to promote and model his line. Lauren became one of "Diddy's Angels" along with Cassie and Asia. Together they have made appearances on MTV to promote the Sean John label.

She has been romantically connected to several men in the past 2 years. In November of 2007 she and Lil Wayne got engaged. Wayne announced the engagement when people starting seeing a very large rock on Lauren's hand. He said of his bride to be "she is very understanding of thugs". The news of their engagement was not very well received by her fans as evidenced by the many comments left on several of the websites that broke the news.
