Anti Valentines Day Baa Hum BUG

Anti-Valentines day is February 15, and it is that some people love that day! Those of us who are not attached to someone special tend to dread Valentines Day, and it was barley two years ago that I was one of them. Anti-Valentines day celebrations were more my style.

I hated Valentines Day with a passion; I hated going into the stores and seeing all those stupid pink and red hearts all over the place. I was so sick of seeing and hearing about cupid, I wanted to puke! Yes, it was that bad. I was not alone in my way of thinking either.

Anti Valentines Day items, cards, t-shirts and more are gaining popularity. Personally I think, this is good; it allows those of us within societies who are not attached to celebrate as well. As we, all know there are single people out there and it is about time that their holiday was recognized as well.

MSNBC says that cards of anti Valentine Day items are becoming more popular with the online e-card producers and that it is catching on in the retail industry as well.

I guess people still want to convey to their ex-spouses and ex sweethearts that they still hate them with a passion.

I could not send my ex husband a card expressing my hatred for him, for that is not nice. Truthfully I would love to send my ex a nice box of chocolate candies injected with rancid milk! Of course I would not put my name on it, I'd put her name on it. I will not do that either, as my parents raised me better.

Let us face it when you do not have some one special in your life you do not feel like celebrating and let's face it you want to run and hide on that day. You are not alone according to the Fox News story about anti Valentines Day.

If you had a bum of an ex-husband like the one I did then you dread V Day even when you are attached. Heck, he was so nasty I was still dreading Valentines Day for almost 7 months after I kicked him out. Anyways I told my self not again, never would I allow a man that close to me again, then cupid stuck but that is a different story.
