Product Review: Butterfinger Loaded Ice Cream Bar

The product comes in a mainly dark yellow wrapper. There is a small triange of light blue on it. Then, the word "Butterfinger" is in blue with a light yellow background. Under that, the words, "crispety, crunchety, peanut-buttery!" are printed in small black letters. Then under that,
there is a red rectangle with large light yellow letters that say "LOADED." The rectangle is also outlined in the light yellow.

To the right of he words, the product is pictured with a bite shaped section out of it revealing the inside the ice cream bar. Piece of Butterfinger bar also seem to fly out of the bar in the picture.

What the product promises:

The product obviously promises that it will be crispy and crunchy. It also says that it will have the taste of peanut butter. The wrapper lets consumers know that both natural and artificial flavors have been added to the product.

What the product offers:

Since these are ice cream bars, they need to be kept cold so they do not melt. So, the bars are cold and kept fresh in a bag in a freezer. When one is opened, the chocolate coating can be seen and there are pieces of Butterfinger bar stuck in the coating.

As the bar is being eaten, the ice cream inside has a subtle peanut butter and caramel flavor to it. Then, there are also pices of Butterfinger bar inside the ice cream. The picture on the packaging is quite accurate to how the bars actually look. The taste is not like a cold Butterfinger bar, but it is ice cream with a Butterfinger bar pieces.

Is it worth it?

These ice cream bars are worth buying for the occasional treat. They are often found in the Nestle freezers at video rental places and gas stations. Of course, they are going to be more expensive at video rental places. However, if no more than $2 to $3 is paid per bar, it is an okay treat as if it were a treat bought at a movie theater.

Comments:

This ice cream bar was quite enjoyable and also easy to eat. At the end, it got a bit messy, but that is normal for ice cream bars on sticks.

$2 or $3 a bar!?!? Whew! Pricey! They sound good, though.

Thanks for the review. My kids like butterfingers so will have to try this for one of their occasional treats.

Thanks for the review, but I'm trying to resist adding new treats to my diet!
