World of Warcraft Patch 2.3.2 Available

As of January 7, the announcement that World of Warcraft patch 2.3.2 would soon be released was met with cries of joy from the gaming community. The patch was officially released later that day and is available for immediate download.

Patch 2.3.2 has been long awaited, adding numerous improvements to the game and a huge boost to the Mage class. The new Mage Frost talent Icy Veins decreases casting time of all spells by 20% and increases the chance that chilling effects will freeze the target by 10% (full notes for patch 2.3.2 are below). Ice Block, while previously exclusive to the Frost talent tree, is now available to any Mage for purchase at a spell trainer at level 30. Mana Gems also received a huge boost. The Emerald gem now restores 2340 to 2460 mana and can be charged up to three times.

Raid members can now be seen on the minimap as dark blue dots. Party members still display as light blue dots. This will prove handy in keeping raid members in line, since many raid situations call for specific positions. On similar lines, quest givers with blue question marks over their heads will no longer appear on the minimap and NPC's who you have completed a quest for will no longer display an exclamation point. They will instead display a question mark on mouseover.

Hunters may now rejoice; for your pet's leveling speed has been increased, making it that much less of a hassle to build up a new, low level pet.

The Rogue skill Shadowstep now adds a 70% movement speed increase for 3 seconds, making Rogues just that much more unrelenting in their attacks.

Previously removed due to bugs, vendors and NPC's on ships and zeppelins have now returned to their rightful positions. Thank goodness, since boat rides can be rather lonesome at times.
