If you are currently looking to change out the stock pedals on your road bike for something just a little higher quality, a great choice would be the Shimano PD-6620 Ultegra pedals. These cycling pedals are a huge improvement over most stock pedals. These pedals are wider and have a lower profile than other pedals, which allows for greater comfort while riding. They feature adjustable release tension so that you can adjust the pedals to your feet. These wider cycling pedals also offer better stability for your foot, which allows for higher power transfer from your body to the bike. They also come in a stylish Ice Gray color, which looks great, and matches any bike.

Shimano PD-6620 Ultegra pedals are on the higher end when it comes to bicycle components, so you will pay a little bit more for these. On several internet sites, such as Colorado Cyclist (located at www.coloradocyclist.com), I was able to find these cycling pedals for around $144.99. Of course, you can find these pedals on auction sites, such as eBay, but with sites like these, you never can be sure that you are getting brand-new components, so you are better off going with a more reputable website, such as Bicycle Source (www.bicyclesource.us), which offers these pedals for $139.99.

According to information on Shimano's Corporate website, which is located at http://corporate.shimano.com, Shimano has been making bicycle components, including cycling pedals, since 1921, when Shozaburo Shimano established the Shimano Iron Works to begin production of wheels for bicycles. With over 86 years of experience, you can trust that Shimano is one of the best names in bicycle components. When you purchase their products, you are purchasing high quality accessories for your bicycle. Shimano also offers a two-year warranty on the PD-6620 Ultegra pedals, so in the unlikely event that something goes wrong with your pedals, you can get a full replacement. If you are looking to purchase Shimano cycling pedals or other components, you can check out their website at http://bike.shimano.com.

Interesting. I should have better pedals on my bike. To bad I can't afford it. PS My Chain is rusted solid. :( I think I have to buy a new one.
