How to Have a Great Superbowl Party!

The Superbowl is coming soon and that means it is time to start planning your Superbowl party. In this article I will go over the three elements necessary for a great Superbowl party: food, company, and, drinks. Paying attention to these four elements will make sure you have an enjoyable time on Superbowl Sunday. The first element I will discuss in this article is food. Most people would say that food is the most important part of a Superbowl party. I have always felt that Superbowl Sunday was a time for salty food that could be eaten with one hand-this isn't the time for pasta. A favorite at my house is the meatball sub. I make the meatballs early in the morning and let them simmer in pasta sauce for a few hours. Then I serve them in Italian rolls with plenty of provolone cheese. I also make sure to have cheese sticks and nachos(I like to make my nachos with Old El Paso Spicy Taco seasoning. I also make sure I have plenty of Frito-lay Doritos and potato chips on hand.
The second element for a good Superbowl party is your guest. Now most people would recommend inviting all your friends, but I don't think that is a good idea. You need to keep a few things in mind when making your guest list. First off you want to make sure you have enough seats for your guests. No one wants to stand for the whole game or want their seat stolen the second they get up for second helpings of your delicious meatball subs. You also want to make sure you have enough food. You don't want to run out of food. If you do run out of food, it will be almost impossible to get more food. Most groceries stories resemble ghost towns on Superbowl Sunday (I know the shelves at my local Giant Eagle are always empty). Also you want to make sure that everyone is cheering for the same team. The last thing you want is a fist fight.
