My Muse

What's my inspiration?
A moment of aggravation,
A morsel of temptation,
A time of great elation.

What's my muse?
It could be on the news,
Or someone that lit my fuse,
It can be whatever I choose.

What's the reason for my thoughts?
Perhaps my stomach's tied up in knots,
Perhaps it people in the parking lots,
Or even worn out cooking pots.

What's the reason for my song?
Maybe it's speeches that go too long,
Maybe it's something gone terribly wrong,
Or even the sound of a clock's ding dong.

Sorry it's taking me so long to comment; I have and old computer and rare access to a better one---so it is hard for me to comment on this one. Anyway---this is very clever and as usual very well written. I like your style, but then you already know that Marsha---your just a really neat person---so creative and full of imagination. 5 STARS just for being you! *****

We all have different ways of putting our reflections in a variety of expressions. Nicely written.
