Some of you might remember the online survey article I wrote a while ago. Frustrated with surveys requiring a credit card number or hidden costs, I decided to search for a legitimate company that provided simple surveys, painless paid emails, and genuine payouts. And guess what? - I found one.

Inbox Dollars is now my favorite online survey hub. It's simple, straightforward, and it pays in a timely manner. So how exactly does it work?

First, visit www.inboxdollars.com. There you can sign up for an account to receive paid emails and gain access to paid surveys. But don't give bogus information. Your name must be one the bank recognizes, as Inbox Dollars will send you a check. They do not pay via PayPal or any other online payment system. If you are concerned about privacy, simply give your first initial and last name, as I do. They also accept Post Office box addresses, so this is another privacy option available to you. For an email address, you can set up a "disposable" address using Yahoo or some such service. You needn't use a real birthdate, just one close to your own for appropriate survey purposes.

Once your account is set up, you will receive approximately five paid emails daily. If you chose to use a new Yahoo account, check it frequently. You needn't click on every single email, but they only pay active members, and each email is worth approximately five cents, so it's worth an extra twenty seconds per day.

Inbox Dollars offers one-dollar surveys which you are allowed to participate in daily. Each day, you can choose to fill out simple questions about yourself to see if you qualify for a survey. Sometimes you will, and sometimes you won't; it depends on your answers and which surveys are being offered. They do take somewhere between five and twenty minutes, however, so I suggest doing them while you're listening to a correspondence college lecture, like I do, or during a little bit of downtime boredom.

I agree, Inbox Dollars is a great site. I have been taking surveys online for almost a year now and I have made thousands of dollars so far and counting. The key is to sign up for as many of the good ones as you can. The best ones are the sites that pay well and send surveys consistently. I have written a blog about this which includes links to some of the best paid survey sites I have found. You can check it out here: http://legitimatepaidsurveysitesforyou.blogspot.com

Thanks, that's good to know, and I'll keep that method in mind when I check out other survey sites! I didn't realize they'd been around so long.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to give this one a try. I would also add that, unlike so many of these sites, this one comes up in whois with real contact information for the domain name registrant. This always gives me a little more confidence. Adding to that confidence is the fact that the domain has been registered the same for about 8 years now. The scam artists tend to switch domains every year. Thanks again!

You're welcome! Hope it works out for you, too!

I think I might actually try this. Thanks
