To Make This Shabby Chic Easter Bunny Centerpiece You Will Need:
Metal Sheeting
Moss
Floral Wire
Wire Basket
Floral Foam
Rust Spray Paint Kit
Tin Snips
Grass
To get started you want to line the wire basket with some sheets and pieces of moss. You can use new green or dried moss form the craft store. Moss can be bought at the local florist in bundles to make this very affordable.
Now, inside the moss you want to press a piece of floral foam into the basket. This will rest the moss sturdily into the edges of the basket.
Now, fit real or fake grass into the top of the floral foam. If you are using live moss and live grass you will want to soak the floral foam first. Let it drink up as much water as possible to feed the live plants.
If you are using dried or fake moss as well as fake plastic grass, no need to soak the foam.
Now, onto the Easter Bunny in the middle of this shabby chic centerpiece.
Lay your metal sheeting out on a table. You can practice on paper and cut out the bunny on paper, then trace it onto the tin or metal sheeting.
Try printing out clip art forms of Easter Bunnies out on your computer. You can blow them up to the size you need or simply draw the Easter bunny Shape free hand.
