Small portable handheld vacuums are one of those great small appliances that almost no home could function without. Two small handheld vacuums, specifically the Black & Decker Cyclonic PowerVac Dust Buster and the Shark Limited Edition Cordless Hand Vacuum rise to the top of my list of small handheld vacuums that definitely dominate this market. Anyone with pets or kids knows that a small handheld vacuum is a lifesaver in the battle against dirt, debris, and the general mess that appears throughout your home on a daily basis. When comparing the Black & Decker Cyclonic PowerVac Dust Buster and the Shark Limited Edition Cordless Hand Vacuum my two most important concerns are suction and how long the battery lasts.

I remember some of the first handheld small vacuums that I saw as I was growing up. While they were small, they generally clogged very easily, had little suction power, and ran on a battery that did not hold a charge for a very long time. Small portable handheld vacuums have certainly come a long way. Black and Decker and Shark both dominate this lucrative market. Bets of all they are well known and trusted by most of the consumer market.

Suction

Takeaways
  • Suction is an important feature in any hand held vacuum.
  • Battery life is also very important in any comparision.
  • Cordless is the wat to go with any hand hled vacuum.
