I watch this show Deal or No Deal quiet often. I think 99% of the contestants are greedy idiots. What I don't understand is how a contestant can turn down around $100,000 dollars when it's clearly a good deal. They continue to turn down the deal and randomly open cases. It's like blindly throwing darts at the dart board. The situation is always different with each contestant but almost all the contestants turn down great deals and continue to play and end up with less money than they were offered. A lot of the contestants actually get lucky and win a good amount of money even after turning down good deals. These people should have taken the good deals because luck is not something that you can count on.

On today's episode the contestant turned down $172,000 plus a $5,000 bonus. It was an extremely great deal because the only big amounts he had left on the board was million dollars and hundred thousand dollars. I would have taken the deal and not risked walking away with less than that. The contestant got lucky and walked away with $260,000. I think he was very luck. He kept taking risks and still walked away with a good amount.

I guess I'm not a risk taker. I would have walked away with $80,000. I guess the whole game is about blind luck. You open random cases. It's like playing the lottery. There's no logic or strategy to it.

I always find myself yelling at the TV when I watch this show. I just can't believe how people turn down good amounts such as $100,000. I guess $100,000 is just not enough anymore. I think it's a lot of money. I think the contestants on this game show are usually very greedy, stupid and risk takers.

I am more conservative and would take a deal right away. I am not a risk taker and I wouldn't be an amusing contestant on the show. I also know the value of money and would be smart enough to take a good deal when I see one! Even $90,000 or $70,000 would be a great deal for me. I am smart with my money. I am cheap and debt free and I save very well and how much a little bit can make a great difference in my life for the better.

I agree. These people are idiots who think its in the stars for them to make money, or they believe that they are lucky. I watched the Star Wars episode where the asain woman thought the universe was on her side when she could have taken over $100,000. She ended up with nothing. These people don't realize that Deal or No Deal is a numbers game, and that luck doesn't exist. The show kind of reminds me of card counting.

I think the main thing these people forget about is that the odds on winning the million dollars does not change during the course of the game. You are required to pick your case at the beginning. The only way the odds would change would be if you were still looking for the million dollar case. Your right, most of the people are greedy idiots.
