Throw away all of what you think you know about what makes a good film good.

Now that you've done that, look back upon the films THE EVIL DEAD 2, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, ELVIRA: MISTRESS OF THE DARK, and THE ADVENTURES OF BUCKAROO BONZAI and remember why you like those films because without that mentality there will be no way you will enjoy director Jack West's EVIL ALIENS, a film whose plot is so ludicrous you can't help but to love it.

Forget about logic because this film is just downright great gory fun from start to finish. When news of a possible alien invasion reaches the outside world television personality Michelle Fox (Emily Booth) and her film crew set out to investigate. With a group of dedicated individuals from all walks of life (including some hillbillies with their own agenda) they get more then they bargained for because the alien invaders are not only mutilating cattle but killing everyone and everything in their path. Now Michelle must find a way to stop the aliens even if it means infiltrating their ships and destroying them before they destroy everything in their paths.

The fun of this movie is the same as is present in director Peter Jackson's early splatter films BAD TASTE and BRAINDEAD in that you never know what's going to happen (or who is going to die) next and like a rollercoaster you just get on board and go for the ride no matter where it takes you. These types of films are few and far in between and when one is able to balance not only the action and horror but the humor as well it is always worth taking a look at and this film is no exception.
