Conservative Voters: Don't Let the Media Pick Your Candidate!

If You're Conservative-vote Conservative

Conservative Voters: It's time to take a stand.

If you are a conservative voter, what does that mean to you? Are you willing to buck the media and talk pundits and vote true conservative? If not, 2008 may prove to be the death of conservatism, as we know it.

We have republican candidates that are no more conservative than the man in the moon yet they are running as conservative republicans. The
 media has seen to that.

How did we get to this? I think a lot of it comes with President Bush. He ran as a "compassionate" conservative. I don't think conservatives knew what the heck that really meant, but we went along with it.

NOW we know that "compassionate" meant watered down. President Bush may be great at tax cuts and tough on terrorists, but after that I see no conservatism in him.

He has been soft on smaller government, soft on illegal immigration, spends money like we weren't in a war or struggling to keep ahead of bankruptcy. Yet this seems to have opened the door to a softer and kinder (?) conservative republican.

I don't like to admit that I was duped by thinking President Bush was a conservative, but I was. It is because of him that I implore you to examine the republican candidates, not just take the word of the media.

Are they new to conservatism, starting when they decided to run for president? If they are, you will pay as you did with President Bush.

Mike Huckabee is a great example of a candidate that I don't believe is truly conservative. I like him; I think he's good-humored, religious and a "swell guy". But he's not conservative. The media says he is so examine his life long stances and make up your mind.

When in Iowa, he ran totally on the fact that he was the religious conservative choice. Every time the media interviewed him, religion and guitar playing were about the only things mentioned.

Fred Thompson, Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul are all religious. We're not voting for a preacher.

But Bobby if you vote for Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson or Ron Paul you are throwing your vote away!

I am not a conservative, but feel our democracy is in jeopardy when someone like Ron Paul is edited out of the process. He is a clear and brilliant thinker, and an honest man. In the latest debate, the question about 911 was an effort to embarrass and sidetrack Dr. Paul and he didn't go for it. I would vote for him to preserve our democracy.

My thoughts exactly...and very nicely put...we true Conservatives had best make our feelings known at the primaries and then in Nov. Tell the media to take a hike.

Ron Paul is the best candidate. He is also authentic, not like all the other phonies.

Right On! Fox News and other Traditional Media outlets just don't like the idea of Dr. Paul at the helm, probably because they can't "Buy" his love. As a life long conservative republican, I will drop it in a heart beat if Dr. Paul goes independent!

Obviously you have not done your homework. Ron Paul is a Christian but does not wear it on his sleeve like some of the other candidates! Ron Paul actually IS the TRUE conservative Republican candidate and the media blacks him out most of the time. But if you take the time to research and read about him, you will find him to be the only candidate worthy of U.S. President! http://www.ronpaul2008.com/ http://thecaseforronpaul.com/default.aspx
