So you've found yourself in Kentucky's largest city, Louisville. This city was founded in 1778 by George Rogers Clark and is named after King Louis XVI of France. This town is most famous as the home of "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports." Which is named this because of its major event, the Kentucky Derby, which is the most widely watched event in American horse racing. Louisville rests on the Kentucky-Indiana border, and is referred to as Kentuckiana. So no matter why you have found yourself in this wonderful city, there is one thing that you have in common with the millions of visitors that travel here - you are going to need somewhere to sleep at night. So, I have researched and reviewed the top three hotels in Louisville, Kentucky for your consideration.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is The Brown Hotel. This historic four-star-hotel is located in downtown Louisville in the Theater district. When guests enter this hotel, they are taken back by the lobby which is full of Southern antique replicas, a hand-painted plaster-leaf ceiling, and pristine marble floors. Some of the amenities this hotel offers its guests includes complimentary airport shuttle, wireless Internet access in all public spaces, and a self-service business center. This hotel also has 17,000 square feet of meeting space, which includes a stately main ballroom with nine crystal chandeliers. This hotel has 293 guestrooms and suites with twenty-five-inch Televisions, three multi-line phones with voicemail, work desks, complimentary newspapers, and windows that actually open - a rarity in this hotel age.
